I'll keep that in mind next time. Meanwhile, the snow has already melted in 50 degree weather

For some reason I see a lot of roofs being ripped off. Unless you idiot proof it

Looks pretty useless for ice frozen to the roof.

We typically pickup 2-3,000 lbs of snow when it is light. Heavy wet can be many tons.

Snow is extremely heavy, it is nothing to drive through a blizzard and gain well over 5,000 lbs in snow load by the time I reach my destination.

throw a rope over the roof. Secure one end of rope to the frame rail, and hold the other end in your hand. Walk the length of the trailer. Don't stand where the snow/ice falls. It's like scraping your dinner plate with your fork, fo those that don't clean every plate, every time since 1984.

There are self adjusting ones and manually adjusting ones. I trust the manually controlled ones better

Yea I would too. The steering wheel holders would still find a way to destroy it and the ambulance chasing lawyers would have a field day

Not trying to doubt that will work.. but I just envision the rope cutting under the snow and sliding through it.

    Thinking outside the box, though.
