How often do you get to keep food because of damaged package?

I don't do a whole lot of reefer, but I got to keep a case of 1 dozen frozen pizzas because the cardboard case was torn up. Everything was perfect inside, but you know Come and Stay. At least I got some compensation for nearly running out of hours in the dock.

Many reefer drivers have a big extra freezer at the house.
    I pulled reefers 18 years.

I smoked some reefer once in the 70's but I did not inhale.

I spelled it with two Es at first but doubted my spelling when I thought about refrigerated being a single E.

When i was pulling reefer trailers many years ago. I had turned down product all the time. Bags of cookie dough, half ham's. turkeys, and so on. Many times i would donate it to a truck stop, or so

well when I was pulling reefer they almost always let you take the osd home especially if it is a box or two and not meat or seafood .... had a bin of hard boiled eggs already peeled once that got rejected I took them back , get good at taking pictures making it look worse than it is, always mention that it's lea king all over the floor. and say the next stop is always worried about cross contamination what should I tell him .... ... finally if they still want you to take it back to a terminal or something stomp on it so they can't use it. ...... if you can't have it nobody can ....... get a big freezer

    You're right!
"Can you return it to the terminal?"
"Yes, but the trailer will need a good washout. The crap is leaking all over the place."

    Grubby and JoeyJunk Thank this.
