How risky is it to run a full length truck on 101 south from Eureka to Bay Area?

I'm telling you, hundreds of trucks with standard 230 to 245 inch WB and 53's drive that constantly.

That's one place where a blind eye is turned.

Well, I got nailed for a $185 dollar or so ticket running through there back in late 2011 so that must be a new policy. Of course he didn't make me turn around or anything, so it couldn't have been too big of a safety issue. More like a "we caught you on a technicality and now we need some money from you" issue.

Basically this guy should run 101 all the way to Sausalito and it will be a good story either way.

Driving the 101 ... do you want to get car sick. Because that is how you get car sick.

Not worth the time suck even if you ca 65 ft legal and have the kpra requirements met ... because you will see your own tail lights.

    Return whence you came OP

Tracy California. I already took the legal Inland route, I'm already in Central Valley. It wasn't that bad honestly, just slow slow and bad fuel efficiency. Very pretty though.
