If you are not going to keep it long if you make your way to Chicago I can have someone replace them for you for around 700 or 800 just the parts that they are going to replace

    JerryD13 Thanks this.

After your information and from others - negotiated - to have the job done for 700...
+ parts -- parts were 200.00 - >> your suggestion to ask about the alignment -
the * Tech said he would align as part of the install. * but had to ask!!!
** asking about alignment is very important ** alignments cost 200/300.00 **

900.00 to get this job done *** it does take specialized equipment ***

    PARTS:

    2 leaf spring bushings -- at Volvo 50 x 2 -100.00
    4 - Shackles -- at Volvo 25.00 each x 4 - 100.00

Is there some special trick or tool to remove the kind of fasteners holding the spring hanger to frame? I'm talking about hex head/nut type huck bolt. I couldn't get them out with impact wrench, had to cutt them off .

Those are not threaded, just knurled and they are a rivet. Cutting is the only way to remove as they are one time use. Smoke wrench or cutoff wheel is the only way.

    Tombstone69 and Johny41 Thank this.
