How to get direct shippers, cutting out the (Thieves, this is my opinion), brokers

    Honestly, I have direct freight and I work with brokers. I average significantly higher rates with the brokers. Maybe others have different expierences..

    Many shippers don’t want the headache of arranging for transportation so they turn it over to brokers to handle this for them.
    Also finding direct freight in an area you always run is pretty easy but not so easy in an area you don’t generally run.
    There are many things in our lives that are not necessary but at times very convenient. We run about 70-75% direct and use brokers when necessary to get us back home to our customer base.
