^That's the way I do it. Thanks drivers and hopefully some of this good info will be used by others. If you are dialed on your truck placement on the road there is never any need for corrections or stress. Build a good foundation and they become good habits.

I see the wandering all the time. My old man (LA cop) taught me to "look as far ahead as possible" when driving and to "trust my periphrial vision" to hold the vehicle in the lane. I also use the spot mirror to check my trailers placement on the shoulder line (I keep the tandems about 1 inch from the shoulder). When teaching my kids to drive (and improving my wife's skills) I taught them to "look where they wanted the car to go and just let your hands guide it there".

A previous poster had it right. Wandering drivers are staring at the edge of the hood and adjusting the vehicle in the lane.

    Something like that... :laughing6:

I've known so many uneducated rednecks that could drive a truck at least as well as the stunt drivers on Smokey and The Bandit...then what I see here...

Don't we need Chris Russell here too?

You still do the ZRXOA? I haven't been there since spring or so.

if you cant keep a 8'6 truck inside a 10-12 foot lane you need to get outta a truck. i mean its not that hard, threw your normal looking near far left right and in your mirrors you should always know where your truck is in you lane.
