You obviously don't know how this works. After you complete CDL school, most companies will still require you to go out with a trainer for training. Do you understand now?
Don't worry about it -- Others who understood the asked question already answered. They were thanked.
So the answer is No, you do not understand that after you complete CDL school and get your CDL, you will be required to go OTR with a trainer for a period of time (sans the cats). That's what the posts relating to training were about. Btw, when you ask a question on an open forum, you don't get to control the substance of the responses.
CDL school just teaches you the bare basics to get your CDL, then you go out with a trainer and if you get lucky and get a good one, they teach you how to safely drive a truck. Name one company that your cherry picked 3 replies that you liked told you they would hire you without going out with a trainer or pairing you up with a new driver that knows the same as you. Just name one company.... We're not that bad here, but we feel sometimes some people need a good slap to realize this career is not for everyone, or the unprepared.
So only three members could manage to realize I was asking about when I'm SOLO-DRIVING? Wow, gawd forbid I was thinking further down the timeline to past obtaining solo status and remaining at the company for at least a year when it comes to selecting one with a question in my head, whoa. The three members who answered the ASKED question -- they understood the question.. Please refer to their comments for further comprehension on what the actual question was. Thanks.
That is true. Even megas that have CDL school are just there to get you CDL. Now on the flip side at some companies the trainer only has 6 months experience.
If I were a know-it-all, I wouldn't have asked. If the comments didn't address the question, it just didn't. I'm not going to pretend that just because somebody posted words, it was answered. lol of course i have a lot to learn -- that's the point of asking questions.
