It's 30 days in utah also.

I never reported em. Just hired a lawyer and let him do his thing. Most of the times they ended up being nothing to report. Just paid the fine and moved on with my life.

Companies WILL eventually find out though, when their insurance pulls up drivers records to keep current.

Should have slowed down when you realized you were hydroplaning (and no, unless you were going significantly faster than the speed limit, you would have had at least some warning). If you weren't paying attention to what the car was telling you, you kind of deserve the citation, sorry.

Replace them quickly. Most states require you to maintain your vehicle. If you were "Caught" with factual bald tires showing a neglect of maintaining your vehicle there are so many who can stick a fork in you.

Since he works for a Mega, he might want to check his company handbook. The companies requirements might vary from the law.

Unless you’ve been convicted, there is nothing to report.

A charge/ticket, is not a conviction. Even in Texas.

OP keep your mouth shut and fight the hell out of it. Until you’ve been convicted, nothing will show on your DMV report.

Report it now and you might get fired.

Cop a plea and Don’t say anything you might get fired.

Bottom line if they want to keep you you won’t get fired otherwise they will fire you for something so why hand them the gun?

I'm just gonna call bs on that one, I've hydroplaned one time and that was on a sloppy gravel road in a little two wheel drive ranger, at 60.

Is this anything like picking up a preloaded and bolt sealed trailer? Getting to the receiver, finding a dead body inside. Then telling the cop that answers the call, it may not have been in there when you picked it up.

    Sounds like it.
