I read the manual and installed the CDL prep test app. I was able to get my permit in 3 days.

If the goal is to memorize answers you're doing it wrong.

If the goal is to understand the material you'll be much better off.

It's good to fail knowledge tests a few times. It makes you learn more. And the test is different every try.

I watched youtube videos and took lots of cdl permit practice tests online and studied the cdl book from the dmv. When I went to the DMV I took my cdl permit test along with all my endorsement tests. I passed all of them except one. I went to another dmv and retook the one I failed and passed it that same afternoon. Now Im just waiting on a local truck driving school to open up a night class. I didnt want to waste time trying to get my permit during truck driving school. I wanted to hit the ground running so to speak.

Aisling looks good; 160 hr. program.
Plenty of jobs to stay "Western Regional" or local for new cdl school grads.
Myself and some other drivers will give you some company names that hire new cdl school grads.
    Medford is a good location.
Some companies we list may have "experience required", but they still hire new cdl school grads on a case by case basis; they just don't advertise it.
