your company screwed me outta $$$ I once said screw me out of 5 cents and we are done.. Keep your non English speaking bottom of barrel drivers and hope your freight gets there...My services will go to a broker who appreciates my wears... Chad can kiss my ......

 

I didn't know about this thread, I see someone just revived it. Two years have passed, and NOTHING has changed. It takes a certain amount to operate a truck, and provide for a family, no matter how supply and demand or capacity is affecting markets at any given time. That's where rates should start. There are jerks in all walks of life. I'll get over someone being rude over the phone. Having to operate at a loss by running empty or poor rates will always be a failed opportunity to earn.

 

I agree to a point. I deadheaded from Miami to Philadelphia because I #1 have a heard head and #2 refuse to haul freight for 60 cents per mile. My problem with TQL is detention time. I set my rates and charge a reasonable $60/hr over 2 hours...no I have yet to receive this but that is where I start.. I had 2.25 hours (actually 4.25 but clock dosent start till 2 hours pass) and compromised to $100.00 total then went to $50 total and was told I would get a rate confirmation for the $50....chad a supervisor was so nice on the phone but still no rate con...screw them ...they can stick their loads where the sun dosent shine and believe me karma does come around (ask nestles in Pa,,,they pay through the nose) this high concentration of trucks will not last and when the wheels turn I will be one of the ones who will not work for them at any rate

 

I'm old school...never late...certified diesel mechanic...English speaking truck driver who treats customers like gold....I wear a company uniform(my company ) and always present myself as a professional...clean , shaved, bathed and polite....

 

TQL sucks will not honor detention payments even after they agree to it

 

First off...TQL is the broker....your a salesman.

 

You are not a broker, your company has the broker authority, not you....you are an account exec. In recent years broker co's like yours have subtly replaced the trucking co using owner operaters. The thought is...the same money is made without the liability. In tql';s case they simply block the victims calls....tell him or her to screw off when there is disagreement. This is done while the arrogant broker steals nickles and dimes from working people. The attitudes of the decision makers such as Justin Ogrady....who come in after the fact and undo a compromised settlement is beyond repair. You have some set of balls coming in here and claiming to be the truckers friend. TQL commonly steals detention from truckers....misrepresents truckers.....and in general throws the truckers under the bus for their own interest. I SHALL EXPLAIN..,.,... some weeks ago a load was performed.....detention ensued....as TQL doesn't have a stated rate...INDUSTRY STANDARD APPLIES as to the time free and paid. When this was discussed a schmuck mocked detention and than said its 6 hours free....or else. When told there was a recognized industry standard that comes into play in the absence of a stipulated agreement...TQL denied the existance of the standard. When TQL was shown the government accounting office report to congress citation stating the existence of the INDUSTRY STANDARD the rage started...threats from Ogrady, DNU later...all because your company was proven to be thugs. This is systemic and the only way to cure it for TQL is punishment...ergo: loss of your business.

I'm sure there are thousands of stories of millions stolen from truckers who entrust your company.

PSS...its the arrogance....not the 1/3 discounted detention we asked for.

PSSS OOIDA will loose my money if they cozy up to TQL

 

Looking at the syntax bear was using.....I believe hes one of the big bananas. They realy want OOIDA endorsement.

 

Why is tql even on this site ? ...tql thru they're lying and bs has managed to alienate themselves to the point that only the starved and desperate will haul for them ...I won't !
