No your being the ###, If you cant pass them you need to slowdown and drop it in the rear. Dont be a ##### and expect the other truck to give in.

Yesterday this happened to me. I finally dropped my speed and let a driver pass. I was in the right lane. She had done what I’m talking about, tried to pass and just couldn’t. It didn’t matter that our windows were side by side. She didn’t look over. She wasn’t embarrassed. Annoying as hell. By the time she finally passed there was an angry line of 4-wheelers tailgating her truck. As these people passed both of us, I saw drivers giving both of us the bird. Why do I get the bird??! That’s when I realized they all just see 2 trucks blocking and driving side by side. So her ridiculous actions did indeed become my problem. That’s why I made this thread halfway in jest.

You know how them packs run, fighting all day to get in front, then they all go to the same truckstop and they have the same problem parking, I see packs running all the time, one brake light goes on, the whole pack does the same, then that poor lone wolf out by nothing is just moving along with no problems.

By the same token, I also do not speed up to hinder someone else, If I'm cruse'in for some reason like just burn'in up the 12 drive time, and you come around I will not speed up just because I can.

If I dont get the single finger salute at least once a day, then I am not driving hard enough

    I'm governed @65 and pull 79,500+ everytime.
I see you creeping up behind me. You've been in my mirrors for 15 minutes.
You catch me and move left to pass I will, even though your pulling just slightly faster, drop my speed to let you get by faster..every time.
Courtesy may be dying but not dead yet.
After decades of hammer down trucking, always scanning ahead for my next decision, always on my mirrors to see who or what is behind or closing in on me I find it much more relaxing to run just a bit slower than traffic or the speed limit.

I kind of enjoy watching the race play out while not having to participate.

One of the old rules that seems to has been forgotten is always give yourself a out. How does running in pack do that?

Brickwall and KANSAS TRANSIT Thank this.
