I DRIVE FOR SWIFT ARE THERE ANY COMPANIES WITH SLOWER TRUCKS

    Thru some random fluke... My truck does 64.5.

    And hit 70-73 on a nice downhill .... Anywhere from 2-5 times a night.

    My Qualcomm will have a full page of over speed warnings, and idle violations.

    Have never once heard anything about the over speeding.

    But I get almost daily hate mail about the idle violations. A few even threatened being assigned to shorter routes.

    One year swift dedicated...

    Try a big red Averitt truck. I've been passed by swift and even a military Oshkosh...

    But hell.. at least I look like a PGA tour player.

    Truk-King based in Ontario (I've seen them in MA & NY) - big ole sign on the trailer door: 'Governed at 55mph'.
