I'm starting next week. My recruiter has rescheduled me. I was scheduled to get on about midnight. A fifteen hour bus ride.

Not looking forward to the ride. Last time I rode it I was a teenager. Pretty nasty. 15 hours too. I just hope it's all for something. I've read not all make it thru orientation. They better pay for a ticket back in that case

The two main reasons people get sent home from orientation is failing the drug test (the testers know all the tricks), or submitting a false application (omitting something that should have been on there). In other words, you get sent home because of your own actions. The company isn't going to spend several hundred dollars on background checks and a full fare bus ticket just to arbitrarily send you home.

If you do get sent home for a failed drug test or lying on your app, then you will be footing the bill to get back home.

I remember swift sent me from Syracuse to phoenix on greyhound! And wow do you meet some interesting whoppers of people, like overhearing a 250 lb overweight transvestite most intimate details into his her phone calls! Yeah! Go greyhound!!

58 hours bus ride! Not like the folks at swift would like......save money....by....(drumroll) flying me into phx...so I could like.....(drumroll) get my truck and get a load ?nope. Spend three days on a bus!:biggrin_2559::biggrin_25523:

Sounds like someone did not do their job prior to booking your travel

Is this a sign on how they run their business? That would be my first impression.
