Thanks. I didn't know that. I haven't used the site much. I see know what I did wrong.

For non discriminatory basis... Talking about a 10 hour break is a protected act. Firing someone for talking about HOS is considered discrimination. I have one of the owners on email saying that I was "fired for complaining about my 10 hour break".- Andrea (Cozy)

What I would like to know is what OSHA has to do with it??...I thought OSHA got involved in workplace accidents... That's why they're called occupational safety & health administration...

i doubt OSHA is involved in this matter...this sounds like it would fall under the EEOC rather than OSHA.

It makes sense. HOS is, after all, implemented in the name of safety.

The only thing that I don't understand is why not just be 5 minutes late?

That's how it starts, isn't it? 5 minutes, then 10, then 15, and before you know it they've got you sleeping in the break room so you can be on time for your next shift.

It's the USPS. They're sticklers for schedule and procedure. Hold them to it; they can't pick and choose which Federal regulations they will abide by and which ones they will ignore.

OSHA has nothing to do with HOS, according to their site.
