I got hit with my first service failure and I don't agree

    we are still on paper too. also i should point out,only one driver from my warehouse pushes the 14 hours, and he usually makes it back just in time. i think to alleviate some HOS problems, his run was cut by one stop, so to make up the lost difference in pay, losing that stop, they just pay him a higher route pay.

    we other drivers are always done in 10 hours or less, me i am usually done in about 8.5 to 9 hours.

    and i confirmed that last night, that other driver has had one stop removed, but he did not lose any pay for it. he also told me that since he can just as easily get dinged and have to use a motel, (we only have day cabs) our boss told the customer that THEY WILL PAY for any over night stays. customer said we should have a sleeper just for him, boss said, "it's not in your contract, and if we add a sleeper, your rates go up"

    customer agreed to having one of thier trucks service that far away stop.
