Only inflate the 5th wheel until the wheel levels out. At that point, it is safe to reverse the tractor as fast as possible in order to jam the 5th wheel under the trailer.

    Or into it.

I think it depends on whether you are right-handed or left-handed....or was that as you face the tractor or have your back to it...or (Oh ####, where did I put that picture?) :biggrin_2559:

I think that's where the term "Jam Up and Jelly Tight" comes from, right?:biggrin_2559:

I used to regularly have only have 10 to 14. Yup, sure did! Wouldn't stop worth a crap with only 10, sure needed those 8 other brakes!:biggrin_2555:

Part of that question can be different depending on the Rig.
Does it have any super singles?
Does it have 5 Axles or more?
Does the 5th wheel and steering wheel count?
Am I ruining your fun yet? LOL

Oh, keep in mind. When ever DOT ask's you what you are hauling never EVER tell them your hauling sail boat fuel! Some still haven't figure it out yet and will want you to open your trailer because you don't have placards all the while your laughing your ### off.
