Went over to the Pilot on Bordercrest Blvd in Atlanta to shower and laundry cause the company terminal was busy. O-M-G this place is a cluster. Pilot needs to build a bigger place or more locations around here.

    Lots of security here.

@sshewins, this is a good place to get a new hood.

Yep. Even I won't stop there unless absolutely necessary.

There have been several cases in recent memory of drivers getting robbed and at least one killed there

Security guard wanted me to park my bobtail in front of the drivers entrance(since I won't be here long). After seeing how that would lead to trouble I parked in the bobtail parking spot. Hiding from him.

The washer I put my clothes in was leaking so the laundry room was flooded. Lol. Staff is cleaning that up.

    I just might get stabbed.

The sad part is that the Pilot that closed on the other side of town was a bigger cluster than Bouldercrest

I'd simply hate it if I had to find parking around Atlanta. I ain't skeered of Bouldercrest, but typically avoid all Pilots anyway. I've lived and worked in more dangerous parts of town.

In other news, the passenger side headlight assembly for my wife's Passat (it's definitely her car for this occasion) is only $300. I'm calling Kenworth to get a quote and see if they can beat that LOL. I've already started teasing her about being too rough with the headlights.

There's aftermarket ones online for cheaper, but I'm hesitant since I don't plan to replace both. Germans are also notorious for having a different part number and wiring for different trim levels on the same car. This one is a TDI SEL, so a bit less common and better odds not to get a match.

I get to the unload facility this morning (after being up way past 3am and NOT resolving my stuck rim issue) and immediately had problems with their scale. It showed 78080, but printed gross, tare and net weights. Not supposed to do that. Only gross at this point. great.

Ok, 45 minutes later and that got close to being solved. Back into the offload bay. Took sample. Tested ok. Another hr gone.

Now they're telling me that they're having problems with the pump. It's 10:25, didn't they get the memo that I'm supposed to drop this trailer at the tank wash on the south side of town, pick up a hopefully clean 4 hole, and book it to the north side of town by noon to load?
