Hey... It's supposed to be an ice box in this truck when I wake up.

    Where's the AC...

Another good thing about the Freight shaker is that the AC has a control to feed the sleeper also

    That is a handy feature!

Gets used quite often in my truck. ...but before I go to bed, when I idle, turn it all the way to cool and the blower all the way up.

Normally it's an ice box and I actually have to turn it down. But the cold helps me wake up and I feel more refreshed.

It's actually warm in here right now...but the knobs say the AC is on full blast. Going to have to keep an eye on that. At least summer and its heat is almost over.

Here's a cool video with the current model of the Volvo FH16 (The VN series cabover cousin) in Australia.

    I wouldn't mind 700hp!

That sweet, I was wondering since cars are going back to original looks when trucks would also.

We've got a few customers like that. Disp gives us a 9am appt time, show up 15 early, and BAM! no appointments, first come, first served. And there's 3 trucks ahead of you.

Altom spares no expense on trailers, but cheaps out on intelligence. Most companies want a carrier to haul 45,000. The company trucks are doin good if they can haul 43,500. Lot of customers are getting tired of that. 80% of our trailers are set up to unload front, center and rear. About 15% are center and rear. Rest are either center or rear only. That's a lot of extra (heavy) stainless pipes and valves to lug around. My truck is easily 3000 pounds lighter than the company rides. And I can do everything they can do.
