    Lol. It made more sense in my head than how it came out. I rarely go above I80 anymore west of Ohio so Iowa feels like a foreign country to me.

    Personally I like driving up there and I have a ton of family in Cedar Rapids

    I see that now. Reading is fundamental. Yeah 400 over like that final weigh is pressing one's luck. It'd take a long time to burn off 56 gals in one of those newer efficient trucks. I'm so used to steer axle weight up around 13k with lots of fuel on board, I missed that.

    I heard about that on WSB while on the way to Gainesville. A Publix truck and a tanker took a short cut from I-285 EB to GA-400 NB over the rail. Hope they survived. Radio reported 5,000 gallons of fuel in the tanker and I didn't see any signs of fire in the pictures.

    About the same time someone jack-knifed on the I-285WB to I-85NB ramp about 10 miles away. Lucky for me I'm northeast of that mess and was driving away from it.

    Well thank goodness there is hardly ever traffic in Atlanta so this shouldn't be an issue.
