Delivered at Ceva Sacramento early afternoon. Next load picks up from here Saturday at 2pm. Will be going to Auburn, WA. @Cranky Yankee called me. Was wondering who I knew from New Hampshire. Sorry @Cranky Yankee. Will call you tomorrow.

Got Indian for dinner and now watching TV while the trucks idling and pumping in ice cold a/c.

When we got here, A US Xpress trainer and her trainee were trying to back into a dock. For some reason the trainer thought the only way possible was to blind side back instead of going down to the end of the parking lot and doing a u-turn and do a 45. They had a bunch of drivers behind them waiting so they could leave and us waiting for our dock. Multiple times the trainee almost hit the empty trailers. The other trucks started honking after waiting patiently for a long time. I ended up walking over there and taking over. Trainer was an idiot and just stood there. Helped the trainee into the dock then explained to her how to back. Hope she understood cause she isn't going to learn from her trainer.

Times like this I wish I could train cause I would love to help people be successful in this business but then again....I like having my wife with me everyday.

Ceva has a lot of Somali O/Os. Saw this posted here:

And then to top it off the rental cop at my pickup that I've been to a thousand times already decided to give me attitude.

See I pull up to the first stop sign...get out....slide the tandems...get in....ease up to the 2nd stop sign 100 yards away...walk to the back and lock the tandems in before opening the doors for inspection....have done this every time.

This ####### beats me back there and proceeds to lecture me about locking in my tandems before I get to the gate and "every driver" tells me the same story and most don't do it. I just bite my tongue and tell him I'm not "every driver" and have a nice day.

I love my job....I love my job....I love my job

I road tested them at the same time.

@HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, regarding the lady situation. Don't sweat it. Plenty of fish in the world. If it's meant to be then it will be.
