wood fire camp-stove... sounds like fun... ain't played with one of those in years... I do have a fire pit in the backyard I use to make coals for the BBQ...

Couldn't find a tea in the cooler... know they're in there. I wanted a sip of SOMETHING so I grabbed the jar of Jalapenos and took a swig... as Spock would say - "Fascinating"

Oh yeah, the pup got fixed Tuesday. Kinda loopy on the anesthesia, she face planted in the snow. Would've loved to have seen that.

Apparently, the cone of shame has been replaced with a donut of shame : IMG953205.jpg

I love Thanksgiving... I just miss the corn on the cob... I refuse to eat American corn any more... if it kills the bees, it can't be good for you... of course, "they" SAY it is okay, but "they" are the same people that brought you Agent Orange, with the same "supervision"... besides, we use it to fatten up livestock. Is there any wonder WHY we have an obesity problem in the US? It all started with the sugar embargoes in the 60's, when we all jumped on the bandwagon for corn sweeteners... lose the GMO corn/corn products and live longer.

Some of my fondest childhood memories happened around a fire pit, potbelly stove or similar...

Fiancee isn't a big fire person...house burned down when she was a kid so she's very wary of having live fire in the house. I'll have to figure out a compromise.

Huh...when my much younger cousin was down visiting us we went out for Mexican. Everyone ordered all their jalapeƱos on the side. Pickled kind. I grabbed them all and ate them with my meal since I'm the only hothead in the house. ...cousin tried one and she lost her mind from the heat. I stuffed a forkful in my mouth and smiled.

    She let the explicatives fly...
