A lot of hotels allow pets but they charge anywhere from $15 - $30/per dog per night. That's why we stay at La Quinta hotels. They don't charge for pets. :grommit:

Yup, that's where we're at. You must've delivered a load in the area before.:angel8:

Rocks, even your "dirty floor" looks clean to me. :biggrin_2551:

Yelp pictures look amazing ! For sure will visit this place.

Anyone ever seen a Roadrunner in real life ? Such a cute animal. Wish I could capture it and keep it as a pet.

I reserved mine when I was headed that way about 3 hours out. Was the last one left when I got there.

Roadrunners are smart birds. I worked at a construction site with my dad one summer and noticed one limping around like it was injured near a wood pile. Turns out it was a momma roadrunner and she was trying to lure us away from her nest. They fake injury to lure predators away.

We called animal control and they moved the nest to a nearby scrub brush where it would be safe as that woodpile would eventually be gone.

This was in NM and to do harm to the nest would have gotten us in trouble.

Dropped my load off in Frankfort and bobtailed down to the TA in Whitestone to let them look and see what's doing with the AC. Hopefully a minor leak somewhere anything more serious and I'll take it to a shop that will fix it right and for half the price.

My load to Buffalo was ready even though it's not supposed to be till tomorrow but I left it there because I had less than 10 minutes of drive time and since I'm a law abiding citizen I knew I couldn't use PC under a load. So I'll just grab it tomorrow and drive the whole 2 hours I will have left and finish the trip on Tuesday. Have plenty of hours coming back and taking the weekend off so no need to reset.

Just shut it down in Hancock MD, on to drop DC in the morning, looks like fun turn off a 6 lane road into a dead end.

Might have to tie up a couple of lanes tomorrow and blind side back in.

Hey just met Mr. tsavory at the truck stop here... It was a "quicky"... I mean, a quick encounter but good enough to shake hands and put a face on the postings... :biggrin_25519: Wish I had a vehicle here to go to WM and do my groceries...

I despise those pay to play parking spots. Reminds me of Chicago mafia.
