    Shhhh! I want the extra $$

    I was in lower Manhattan when the #BlackLivesMatter crowd shut down all the tunnels after (what was his name? Guy who got killed for selling cigarettes in Staten Is.)

    Delivering office furniture all the way down in the Battery. There was a big protest at the ferry terminal on the other side of the building. The building security locked it down, the labor was trapped inside, and I was surrounded by squad cars. Couldn't move.

    You know the old joke, "I am a bomb technician, if you see ME running stay out of my way and try to keep up."

    I told my boss "if the cops start running, I'm leaving your truck where it is. Hopefully they won't try to set it on fire!"

    Why he might be missed to some, there are others here that wont miss him. I'm kind of neutral, but I have seen how much of a arse he could be to people if he did not agree with them or if someone called him "yellow".

    So sorry to hear about your dog Al

    For me, having to make that decision is 1000 times worse than losing one naturally.

    My heart hurts for you. ( yes I actually do have one lol it's just cold and hard except where dogs are concerned )

    That's one thing that draws me to this group where I wouldn't give others my time. Almost all of us have animals and they are part of the family and loved and spoiled as such. Speaks volumes as to the type of people and character in the room.....and even as self depricating as some can be the above average intelligence level here as well.

    How we treat our 4 legged kids says more about us all than anything.
