    5,000 medical?

My last ER emergency with risk to life a year ago wiped that out in 4 hours. By morning it bordered on 12K.

I think that $5000 is for him and not for opposite side.

It really depends on what state you live in. Right now Progressive is the only insurance company that will do a new entrant in Florida.

As much as I wanted my name on the door of my truck, I just couldn’t take the financial risk.

I just called progressive to confirm and have policy emailed to me.

Before customer service picked up. The machine says DRIVING RECORD AND CREDIT HISTORY are taken in to consideration. And the machine didn't even know what type I was applying for.

Get more insurance quotes. I live in California, have had my own authority for a year with a brand new T680 truck and Utility reefer trailer. My insurance is $18,500. Maybe your MVR is not so clean?

I received my quotes and policy directly from Progressive, never got referred out. My truck is plated in Ca, trailer registered in OK, but I based my company and authority in Wyoming. Insurance is based out of Wyoming where the company and authority are. That rate is high, I had a 2 year old persona vehicle accident, ticket and less than 1 year experience and my initial policy was $24k. Once the accident fell off I had them run me again and policy dropped to $16k mid year, that is with a 2020 truck and trailer.

Call them again, their rates change by the hour and there’s no rhyme or reason for their pricing.

If I might ask, are you a Wyoming resident? If not then how did you go about registering a vehicle in a state that you don't reside in? or did you rent a office space?

I did try to plate it in Wyoming as I do have an office there, but they wanted me to wait so they could randomly send a DOT officer to my office to verify it was staffed (it’s not staffed full time like they require and I wasn’t about to waste that much time to wait for them to come). So I just plated it in California, had plates in a couple days as I was a resident there at the time.
