It's a mental trick to feel better about using one over the other......

    LMAO

    Maybe Kevin R suggests it.

I'm just kidding so don't go getting y'alls panties in a bunch.

I don't buy at a particular fuel stop for mileage, mpg is not the single most important factor in my business and I don't even track it that close. And I never have said theres a mpg difference at one chain vs another.

I avoid certain places because I don't want the crap that's in their fuel gumming up my engine, especially in the winter months. Mainly animal fat based bio. That stuff is murder on an engine during the cold weather. Go get a can of Crisco and put it in your freezer overnight and try to imagine your truck running off it.

I also prefer fuel that is winterized with #1 vs additives. They're still additives and have the same effect on the dpf, albeit on a smaller scale because of how concentrated they are. And getting some #1 is good for an engine anyways.

I wasnt talking about you. If you go back and read the threads. I was talking about a new IC I met at the OC. He was telling me he gets better fuel mileage at petro. They was telling him this on Facebook.

Got a good plan come together that gets me to Connecticut by Saturday with good revenue. Will look for a load I can take through my parents house that delivers Monday....or I will just bobtail to Jersey and start over on Monday. Will run the northeast/Midwest next week while looking for something to get me back to Texas before Thanksgiving.

I know you weren't. Just trying to respond to your comment, which I thought was helpful, with something that might be helpful to someone as well.

Sorry for the false implication, poor communication on my part.

If you're getting a 20%+ fuel discount by using a fuel card what's the point of paying full pump price and getting a 5% cash back bonus? I guess if you find an independent truck stop with really low prices it might work but I doubt it would be worth the hassle

Well still haven't seen the $175 for the driver assist. Made 2 phone calls and 2 emails to my ICA this week for updates and keep getting the "working on it with payroll" response.

One more day then it's time to go up a step in the chain of command
