Get a P.O. Box that’s an actual physical address. Instead of PO Box 00000 it will be 123 any street any town USA

or ask the yard that you park in to use it as a an address, some places allow it.

 

You can do that at any UPS location..but the financial institution can see it as commercial address in their system as well as some government agencies...
I would find a friend to get you address ... $300 a month for that is stiff ... Maybe $100 ok , but definitely not $300

 

You probably meant to say a UPS mailbox, which is what I used in the past. A PO Box is certainly not considered a physical address. It’s a dead giveaway as soon as they see the address includes “PO box.”

 

The problem with the UPS mailbox is that if my trucking business gets audited, what if they request to visit my location. I would have to take them to the Starbucks across the street, I guess.

 

I get what you are saying and if I was young and single I'd probably not have a home either. But it's still living a vagrant homeless life style. You should at least buy a plot of land somewhere with that 3600. Land goes up in value.

You can rent a conference room at any business building when you get audited.

 

That’s the thing the yard I park at allows me to use it’s address as a mail box, I used a ups box or what ever it’s called before but the yards addy, they said as long as it’s not a crap ton of mail we are ok, since I use the mechanic shop on the yard as well they are always working with me.

And I agree 100% with this-

When you guys make good money and Live out of a truck- You make the Profession look bad.

There are people working for $10 per hour Raising a family that AT LEAST have a home or apartment .

Uncle Sam will have a Field day with you guys making 70-100k with No other expenses anywhere

 

I was audited and i did it at the local public library ... Didn't feel to have them in my house

 

By any chance, did it mention how much they were grossing per week?
