When its all said and done, not everyone who goes thru school and passes should drive a truck.I see these people day in ,day out and am amazed that they haven`t yet gotten themselves or others killed.Everything from laptops propped up on the dash ,pets and kids sitting in their laps, cell phones glued to their ear while eating a sub, sunglasses in the pouring rain- and theres lots more.
Then there are folks who just plain don`t have the disposition to drive even though they had the money for school. All of the schools have other motives for pushing through school. The private ones want money and company schools want bodies. There are those whose physical conditions alone shouild keep them out of a truck but alot of schools take their money, too.
I know schneider has been at the training game longer than most. They would be among the most efficient at training but I don`t know as that would be in a drivers favor.I`ve noticed the drivers don`t catch near the h### that they used to,so maybe they are onto something.
A GOOD education in this business takes a lifetime. At 52 years old, with 30+ years driving I am still learning everyday.
