I just called wiltrans they said that my back ground is no problem. I have to pay 1500 for school and give a verbal agreement to work for them. Classes start every monday. Recruiter says its a small company with 200 employees lol .

Friendlyfelon you have gotten some bad bad advice here. Dont ever lie about anything on your application, period. Not only will you be out of a job, it will follow you if you lied and make it even harder. Companies will check everything. Good new's is it's not impossible to find a driving job. I have 3 felony's that are 13 year's old and have been considered just as much as I have been denied. Truth be known some of the companies that will hire you with felony's are also some of the best companies to work for and the best paying job's. As long as you dont have sexual, drug's, or violence like stated before you shouldnt have to much trouble landing a job, there are even companies that will hire with the above mentioned. I got hired on with Steven's out of Dallas,Tx, and regardless of the negative comment's about them here, I would recomend them. They never lied to me, they have one of the best training program's out there and they run reefer which mean's they have freight year round and good mile's, I still stay in contact with guy's from orientation and they are still there and happy, right now steven's has more freight than they can handle, they have also ventured into the oilfield business with a tanker division. I left Steven's after a short time because that otr crap is for the bird's, I landed a local gig hauling grain, doesnt pay that well but it's experience and a job and Im not on the road. Hope this help's and keep moving forward

there's a difference between your opinion and being factual and what you have said strictly your opinion no facts to it
