Why do you say that? I think spot freight is the finest example of a free market that there is.

Making more money has nothing to do with ex-wives, kids to support, drinking so much, and have so many toys. Those are all reasons you NEED TO MAKE more money. They are simply expenses.

If you do maintenance on your own such as lube and oil changes you will save some, plus it will give you good opportunity to see futur problems.

Being proactive on PM instead of doing it in a rush at either truck stop or roadside is also another good way to save money!

I'm leased onto a company that uses dispatchers. So far mine is a turd. Gonna get on with the blue star or maybe pull for the pumpkin so I can better control my destiny.
This dude doesn't strike me as being that bright or hard working, or someone that gives a dam.

Yep. Anytime one says Marshall, my bs meter pegs. The Marshalls are the judicial branch of enforcement. Fugitive, witness protection, court security, etc. Now if it was the FBI I could belive that.

Fix your own rig. But from junk yards. Watch YouTube for repairs.
Hand out a business card everyday.

I was on a bowling team years ago. There was a husband and wife on my team and he was a U.S. Marshal. Don't remember what he did but not someone who chases people through the woods.

They had just finished up something and he was standing outside near the curb and next to a car waiting for the others. He had his U.S. Marshal jacket on. A guy came out of a building, took one look at him and starting running. He didn't chase him. He had no idea why he was running.

Well, the guy went in between 2 buildings. It was on a steep hill with a retaining wall and buildings below. The guy tried to jump and didn't make it. He fell onto a rot iron fence below and tore his head off. He showed me a picture. It was WAY gross.

On the seat of the car was a pound of pot wrapped up when they found out it was his car.

New dispatcher. $1850 net, after fuel for two days.
All this education about what Marshalls do, it never occurred to me before the dude may have been wanted as well.
