If a person becomes a trucker full time hows does the job work easy question

    Like for example a person drives from New York all the way to California.

    If a person works night shift do they get a day of sleep? Like for example you drive 16 hours then go to bed 8 hours do they get paid for that 8 hours?

    Does a truck have auto pilot? If the person is very tired.

    No, there's no auto pilot in a truck. Unless u count the cruise control.

    Trucking is a 24/7 operation, u will work days, u will run nights. Better get use to mix sleep schedule.

    We pee like a human, in a bathroom.

    Truckers is regulated by HOS

    To make it simple, we can work 14 hours a day.
    We are allow to drive 11 hours during the 14 hours we are allow to work.

    We have to take a minimum 30 min break.

    I have a stinger axle attached to my flatbed so I can tote my personal outhouse around. Then I just pump it out on the highway during rush hour. I make a lot of friends on my journeys.
