    In Ontario if you spin out you better not let OPP see you chain up to move unless it’s changed in last 15 years it’s illegal believe it or not . A co worker got snowed in a old parking lot so he chained up pulled out onto shoulder and was taking chains off when he got ticketed for chains on a provincial highway .(he beat it in court the cop didn’t show up) I thought that was crazy.

    I to carry mine year round.
    But its also the law to for 6 months per year.
