If I lease onto a company can I still use my company logo and name on my trucks along with theirs

So who is responsible for apply the company name and who pays to have it put on the truck?

 

The guy that owns the truck.

 

What company gets the ispenction record if inspected by the dot at a scalehouse ?

Yours since you listed " operated by ". The one you are leased to or both ?

 

The company that has the DOT number and the driver.

 

Im currently leased under a friends company, put his signs and dot on my truck thats registered under my company (titles & plates)
How could i get inspections on my company while leased under his authority using his insurance. Is there a way so I could reduce my safety. Got only 1 inspection and driver was put out of service. 1 inspection and was bad. Put me at 100 % bad safety, making it super expensive to get insured. My authority has been open for less than 2 years. Previous insurance expired and couldnt get more inspections before it did, toget that safety lowered.

You can't. They go by the DOT number. Just wait it out is all you can do. 2 years after the bad inspections your score should be much lower.

So if I wanted to run both company names on the side of my truck who gets the door? I was always told whoever owns the truck gets the door but I can't find it anywhere confirming or denying thanks
