That's true, I forgot about that.
Roehl is leasing out their '07s. If I wanted one it'd be a small down payment. plus all new tires, new bed, and new seats for free when I sign the papers.
I'm tempted now though since roehl is now leasing the kw t660's. It used to be only prostar, cascadia, or '07 columbia. Now their getting more variety.

If you can afford to work for $6.00 a week go to Prime, Inc.

Ironpony I'll say it one last time. The tires on the truck when I leased it were brand new, I didn't wear them out in two and a half weeks (20) days. I know all about how their tire program is suppose to work. The invoices I'm talking about were printed on a separate page and the amount for them was on the deductions page there was no re-embursement. I was also biloled for a step that I found missing $188.00 on the pre- lease inspection . If you are a prime lease operator explain to me how it can cost me $6,528.00 for 20 days on a lease. My fuel was $1134.00 for the period and my fixed cost was $1,150.00 a week. The bottom line is they kept every dime and were to cheep to buy a bus ticket home. The truck broke down three times in the twenty day period. The day before I canceled my lease it broke down on I95 with no instruments smoke coming from under the hood. I took the truck to Pittston and the next day they changed the oil and filters and leased it to another guy finishing orientation with three well documented electrical break downs . The truck is not safe to operate until the problem is fixed. I sent a four page letter to Robert Low the next day and I have the fax receipt for it and I talked to his secretary on three separate occasions as well as Fred in leasing and they all blew me off. All I can say is good lock with Prime. Prime is all about the money and they don't give a #### about their drivers safety that's why I left.

Did you get any breakdown pay for the time you were in the shop? The step should have been covered under the used-truck warranty.

They showed $700.00 break down pay but they kept that too. The step was missing before I signed the lease ,I found it missing on my pre-lease inspection and reported it. I got no -0- pay for 20 days out of $6,528.00 revenue I earned for the loads I hauled and that doesn't include the $700.00 break down pay. They kept that too. That's why I canceled my lease. The 700.00 was for the second time it broke down the third time three days I was not paid any thing. The truck was in the shop for nine out of twenty days that I had it.

Buy your own truck don't lease!
crosscut Thanks this. -
I have talked to a guy that did the lease purchase program with prime. He paid the first truck off and traded it in on a brand new one. Then leased that truck onto prime for a year. He's now leased to a small company where he's from.
The deals work for some people, others not so much.

The vast majority of folks at Prime do a 3-year lease, or the remainder of one on a truck that was turned in early. There is a 3-year lease purchase agreement with a down payment, or you can buy a used truck on a 2-year note that Prime will carry with a down payment.
