I couldn't imagine paying that much for a pair of boots... My $220 pair of Ariats must not be anywhere near a comparison to those?

For $1375 I'm guessing you can walk on water with those things? :biggrin_25513:

If the truck is on fire, you might only have 10 seconds to get out.

If you want ro spend the money you earned on that stuff so be it. It makes you happy and doesnt affect anyone else.

    BUT

No way I am keeping valuble possessions like that in a truck. Especially a truck that the company can yank out from under you anytime they want.

To the OP's OP: Yeah. Their property, their call. If they tell you to leave, and you don't, you are now TRESPASSING.

Same with if a store clerk tells you to get out, and you don't, you are now trespassing. Same with a bartender, homeowner, etc. Even a renter, in most states, has that power.

In 10 seconds I can grab the clip board and the back pack. Give me 10 more seconds and I can grab the laptop.

All you need is an Atlas (or GPS, your preference), cell phone, piss jug, cb radio, maybe a tablet for watching a movie or two, and your clothing/protective gear. GPS optional.

Total cost, $3,000 max assuming you went with a GPS.

But my guess is no. They are probably not going to be liable for your belongings. They have signs posted up where I work saying they aren't liable for missing property. They don't require you to take 25,000 worth of whatever into their truck. The burden of proof will be on you.

But if it's in their yard, you should be allowed to clean the truck out. It's like working in an office and they hand you a box to clean out your desk. If you aren't there, they'll clean our desk for you, then hand you the box full of your #### whenever you show up.

Eva Green is ..... omg. You notice she rarely smiles in her movies. But when she does, it's amazing. That woman should be illegal.
