You want positivity? Check out this newbie; Red Viking Trucker. He is one of the most positive youtube truckers I have ever watched. Lots of good advice, and all of it positive... From reading your posts, your are keeping much of the same attitude this guy is living...

He took a dump, but we weren't in a dump truck. Sorry, but that's where I draw the line.

 

I teamed with a guy on a couple of loads. He told me about when he and his mother decided they would drive together. He gets out of the truck in New York, flies back home to Indiana, and they didn't speak for 2 years.

It can be trying!!

 

35 years is a lot of experience to listen to. Everyone here just wants the best for you. It'll be tough no matter which road you take though.

The God I serve. He doesn't promise there will be no hard times but He's always like a friend to me. There for me when I need a comforter. How do you think I stay so positive all the time?

 

I fell on ice in New York. Called the company, told them I'd get their load back, and I did - shifting with my left arm. Went to their company doctor, was told it'd be fine in a couple days. It wasn't. Went back to the company and they come off with the crap that I could have hurt it again after that. My doctor said it was probably a rotator-cuff injury. Had an MRI done and have 2 torn tendons. Waiting for surgery now. My lawyer has already filed the suit. Many companies will screw you, many!! Guess who I DON'T work for anymore.
