Driver's help me I'm searching for trucking companies that are not very strict on their idle policy. It get's cold out there in the winter and hot in the summer I would like to idle without a problem is I need to.

I work for a Quality Carriers affiliate . Our terminal manager simply sent notices requesting we keep idling to a minimum and try to keep our rpm's in the sweet spot for maximum mpg . Trucks that need pto's to run compressors and pumps cannot have idler limiters like van or reefer haulers can .
But I see you're from Texas . Drivers have to worry more about state regulations than company policies .

Isn't it nice those highway workers paid to do nothing to idle their trucks but you'll be find for idling yours more than 5 minutes ?
