They had to make the run fast enough that it would not get warm.
Now all Coors is shipped in Dry Vans....ok, most of it.
The new stay cold cans were made for that reason. Now they do not have the weight issues we use to have hauling it.

When did they start that? Coor's was always shipped cold. I haven't hauled any in years but I used to pick up in Golden a lot and they were pretty strict on their reefers back then.

The Bandit Run begins next weekend. (We leave Braselton, GA on Sunday, May 16th) Y'all should be seeing a lot of classic Trans Ams headed to the Atlanta, GA area for the start. People are coming in from all over the country, as well as, from Canada. We have more than 100 cars this year since we are headed to Jupiter FL to party with the real Bandit. We'll try to stay out of your way guys. We are going to have safety meetings each morning and remind folks we might be on vacation but you are working. We try to stick to the secondary roads when possible, but I know we are headed from GA to FL on I-75 Monday May 17th. Give us a shout on the radio if you are in the area. Most of us have CBs.
