In need of some help or advice with obtaining my CDL

I recently graduated from a 5 week program at a local trucking school in NE Ohio. I haven't taken my test to get my CDL yet because they didn't give us nearly enough training on our maneuvers and I was only shown the pre trip one time. Are there any companies that will take me on to train me? I don't want to schedule my CDL test until I'm confident in what I know

 

There are many and @Chinatown can give you a list. However, you may be entering into an agreement that's not in your best interest going that route.

Give this company a call; it may still have a training program for drivers in your situation. It's not on the website, but that doesn't mean they don't still have the program.

They didn't take you to test out?

 

They scheduled me to take my CDL test and I cancelled it. The classroom training was good but once it got to the driving part, it was horrible. I completed the course, technically not graduated. Driver training was a nightmare

Yes I did. They were talking about charging me more money...after $6000 I don't feel like giving them any more.

 

Pitt-Ohio in Toledo has driver apprentice program. Supposed to train for CDL.
