You got paid less than the guys sitting in the office. And they didn't have to invest in or maintain any equipment.

You should become a dispatcher/broker. That's where the money is at.

Then when everyone is sitting in their office and no one is driving any trucks, maybe the rates will go up and the brokers/dispatchers will learn that they don't deserve such a large cut for the little that they do.

Or maybe they will just hire Mexicans to drive the trucks? Yeah, that's the ticket.

Bronc, I don't have hard feelings (you know I love ya)... I was just stating things from my perspective. Plus I'm a stubborn female and won't admit to being wrong when I don't feel I am (no matter how many dead horse pictures get put up).:biggrin_2559:

Never..... Wayne is my midwest fave and you're my west coast fave. :biggrin_255:

Oh, that's the story of my life..... didn't we already have this conversation about my uncoolness? :biggrin_25522:

It's ok, you can make wisecracks. My brother and I mess with each other all the time. And I disagree, you guys get all the BEST toys because you have a MUCH bigger budget than we do. At least over the past 20 years or so we've started getting new equipment rather than Army hand-me-downs.

    :biggrin_25520:

BTW, you realize that almost half of the ANG is made up of former Marines? I've given it some thought myself. I'm still in the Marine Corps Reserve now. Just did 7 months in Okinawa (my birthplace) then went over again in August for a month. Not enough budget to keep me on full time these days and the budget is getting cut AGAIN.

I will certainly be glad when Rob can get back to doing his thing or at least get to updating on the progress of the truck or whatever he is doing. this other stuff is ruining this thread. I spent several days trying to read it all and it was like a good book.....now not so much with the deadhorse pics and people fussing about things that dont matter.Quit beating those horses!!!!!!
