Is it just me or are young adults under the age of 25 just plain lazy?

My story on recent example. Local "kid", 22 y/o, big as an ox and stronger. I have seen his strength, it is impressive! Kid sits on his ###, at his place of employment and watches the guys near retirement age do the physical work. It's a disgrace!!!
Excuse I hear regularly is, that is kids nowadays. My father would have kicked my ### for such actions, and rightfully so. I believe most here didn't need their ### kicked. It was how we were taught and the right thing to do. We took the hard labor out of the older peoples hands and did it ourselves. It is words we don't hear anymore, respect and common sense.

In the past, there have been news articles in which the adult son or daughter was caught receiving a deceased parent's Social Security check, not having reported the death to the authorities. The end results always turned out to be the same. The adult child was arrested, convicted, and either sent to prison or put on probation.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.

SADLY & UNFORTUNATELY, this is all too common in today's society.

I paid no mind to it. I had noticed that the majority of drivers that I’ve seen in recent years had this “beaten into submission” vibe to them. And it’s NOT a young guy thing. It wasn’t until I saw what was in Planet Fitness that this victim mentality is actually very common. The problem that we are going to run into is, with so many drivers being ready made victims, it going to attract more low level predators. Scam artists, thieves, carjackers, ambulance chasers, crooked cops and thugs.

    Remember this thread?
    Unsafe backing? Idaho

This kind of stuff I find extremely frustrating. Everyone involved knew she was a victim. Except her.

I'm sure to be hated by some for saying this. But all too often it seems that common sense drops more and more, the longer someone stays in university.

Education and intelligence are two different things.

Sadly far too many people mistake "college education" for intellect.
