Is it just me or are young adults under the age of 25 just plain lazy?

It's a whole different attitude now The boomers would put the other person/people first, now it's me, me, me, first and then others.

That is a matter of opinion, the boomers generationally were the ones running things throughout the eras of economic growth and opportunity, which was very heavily punctuated and accented by shareholder and ceo profit skyrocketing. Millenials today have a difficult time getting a job that even affords them a wage thats liveable much less provides upward or at least not downward mobility. This goes DOUBLE for any millenial naive enough to listen to their boomer parent that told them to go to school and in debt because the degree would pay for itself easily

You folks do realize that Millennials are old now, right? They're 26-41.

I'm learning that trade now part time. I always wear a P100 filter when I weld. If I did it full time I'd pony up $2k for an Ad-flo system. I want to stay as healthy as possible.

i 100% support that. I used to weld galvanized metal, no filters nothin. Got sick as a dog second day around. Still didn’t learn my lesson after years of blowing black śhit outta my nose. Eventually got into tig welding and it stayed plenty clean after that

Was welding titanium, aluminum, stainless, inconel, and carbon tube/pipe

The reality of the current world we live in with the development of artificial intelligence, computers and everything else automated, a child born in this world today might be able to be the laziest of all and yet thrive. JUst the way things are heading. I don’t understand the mentality of the young generation these days though. I’ve always liked hard work. Even if I’m not getting paid for it. I’m just helping a neighbor fix something on his house or landscape or whatever it might be I always put a full effort into it. I’ve always believed if you’re going to do something you might as well do it with all your ability. But these days, the young don’t have this mentality, In fact they don’t even understand it or know what it is.
