Nope, I have only had 5 jobs in 29 years. I am definitely not a job hopper...or the sort of person that would call his employer to bail him out of jail...or expect that employer to provide transportation to and from home.

I once started flipping burgers for a BK in Cali. Wonderful job! But the commute from Pennsylvania was not worth it. Went home on the weekends and by the time I got to Missouri I had to turn around to start work Monday. Never did get home. Hahahaha. To the OP this is not an EOE case.

My company, Munoz trucking, requires drivers to live within one hour of the terminal in El Paso. That includes pretty much all of El Paso, Cd. Juarez and Las Cruces, NM and the southern Mesilla Valley communities along the river as well as down to Ft. Hancock. We have quite a few drivers who live in Juarez. Several of them are gringos who bought dirt cheap properties that are in the name of their Mexican national wives due to Mexican property law regs.

oh ok...i live like 30 minutes from Galilee, and go there frequently for a walk along the docks, take pics of the boats, and fish off the dock at the beach.

the other places i mention, are like 40 minutes away from me as well.

they want a LOCAL RESIDENT so that way when you quit during home time with the tractor in your driveway they do not have to send someone clear across the country to pick it up
