I've been unaware I have a flat on a trl tire but never the trk.Last flat I had was in Louisana a 4 wheeler told me.Check your tires often going thru that state and I do mean often.I've had many blowouts on trks and it does sound like a cannon.

I'd beg to differ, but u have to be looking in them more than ever 10 minutes. And you should hear the chunks smacking the trailer.... But either way I just can't understand how some drivers don't realize things are wrong with the equipment. But then again, most can barely change their own wiper blades.

I have had situations where you hear it go boom and know what happened right away. and situations where you find two half side walls on a rim the next morning while doing your pretrip. And situations where you see debree or sparks in the mirror.

But yes it is possible to be oblivious to a tire out. Maybe not so much on the truck but defenatly on the trailer. exspecialy if its an inside trailer tire. I think it also depends on where you are driving, how much weight you are hualing and what type of truck you are driving. I know the inside of my volvo is pretty #### quite. But the inside of my dads pete is loud with road noise. on rougher roads you might just think it is the road conditions.

ARE'NT THEY TERRIBLE THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been driving since 2003 and I would have to say Louisane is the worst state i've ever been to pertaining to the roads. They have excellent food though, lol. That day I had 3 back to back flat tires on my trl. Then one morning I got up did my pretrip and seen a flat tire on the trl.

Never threw chunks. Tire was intact except for the hole in the sidewall.

I'm a flatbedder, I probably spend more time in my mirrors than I should.
