Is it true that Chicago firm Natex - Freight System vel Enterprices owns multiple weeks pays?

Haven't we all learned if you see the word Chicago in the title just move on.

 

There are some Chicago companies that are still decent.

 

Yeah I work for one.

 

I am sure that there are some, some even think they still are...
My lesson is stay away from "owners" from so called former Soviet Republics or countries that belonged to their "sphere of influence" in general (especially Ukraine).
It is a different mentality. Keeping promises not in nature, obligations means something as long as suitable and so many times "the occasion makes the thief" even if no one meant harm in the beginning.
Sad but true and I can see it more and more clearly over time...

What you say is true. I had my fill of them in the beginning of my OO life. 2012 and 2013. Search the forum for a thread regarding Status Transport out of Florida. It unfolds like a story. The thread has now been locked after their multiple attempts to have that thread removed from this forum.
They failed.
They tried to threaten and then bribe me to have it removed using an attorney as a go between.
They are dishonest as seem to be most Russia accented companies.
One example - it isn't until you have been with them for a while that you will stumble (or maybe the State Troopers will help you) onto the fact that the DOT # on your door isn't the company you signed on with !! Nope, turns out you signed onto company 1 sporting a very similar name, that they then, unknown to you, mass signs over all its drivers to company 2.
Same people of course.
2 different DOT #s which the authorities become very interested in.
Why?
To stand off any legal battles and be able to basically dump the responsibility onto the driver. Distancing themselves.

I discovered this in El Paso when I ran into another of their drivers who was new to the biz. He had just been turned upside down by the cops in a weigh station. They let him off with everyone scratching their heads. He headed to Home Depot and bought some numbers. He then scratched off the number on the door and put the correct one on.
In passing conversation with the office I told them thinking it was a mistake.
They went berserk !!!

If there is any doubt in your mind about signing up with an accented outfit of the eastern European persuasion that should clear things up.
They all seem to have a mentality that truck drivers are all gullible or outright stupid. That our purpose in life is to be pawns in the process of making them rich. We are as disposable as used napkins. It never seems to occur to them that you might be university educated and might have a ton of world experience.
I was suspicious from the start as I have been to Russia, Ukraine and Latvia. I know their nature. One visit to a former soviet country will open your eyes very quickly.
Quite frankly I think the FL company is a greencard factory.

 

This must be another Chicago trucking company didn't pay again thing

 

I work for Natex freight right now and I don't have any problems with them. The payment is on time.
