Is there any proof that boots are safer to drive in than comfy shoes

    Had a swift driver at one of the local Walmart’s go into the back room to get his trailer unloaded wearing flip flops like a genius, guess what happened to his foot when the manager with the electric pallet jack got too close?

    Bingo. I drive in shorts and flip flops. Who cares. It’s nice to change out of dirty boots and jeans after securing and tarping and into clean clothes for that 1000 mile drive. I always change back into professional clothes (boots, pants, long sleeve, PPE) when picking up or delivering.
