Been with the company since October. There is no catch. The training is free. They pay for your permit and road tests. The only thing you’re responsible for paying for is your meals and if you’re from out of town, you’ll pay back $50/week out of your paycheck to cover the cost of the hotel they put you in while at he school ($65/night). Trucks are all newer model automatic Volvo’s and Freightliners. Can’t complain much about the company thus far. They’re definitely a good option if you want to run reefer and stay in the Midwest for runs, with some occasional runs out east.

there isn't a catch with raider! my husband just finished the cdl school and everytjhing they said was true. there isn't a contract to stay on. they say they keep you with the pay, miles, and hometime they offer. so far my husband loves working there so far. his driver manager is super helpful in making sure he gets proper hometime to see the kids while still makin good miles.

cool, just curious. what is your husband's average days otr and hometime? -
I know they love to clog up 287 between Limon and Ft Worth.
