    Halloween Humor Driver style!

Here too! What was that movie again? Speaking of movies, what was that movie where the truck driver kept chasing down those teens, (or young adults) and if you rented the DVD you could choose your ending? I like scary movies like this better than scientific weird gory stuff. I never did rent it with choose your own ending - that might be the one for tomorrow night!

(is there a coughing smiley? -sarcasm -ahem)

    Reality check!

Driving your truck round the visitor's hall during unlocked hours, or just in your head hmm?? jk

Y'all are funny - Dead Drivers, - a lil trucking humor gone awry (sarcasm you call it) Butt Chillin', snow, Dude's with Full Sized Bars & oilers!

    Happy Halloween!
I've ordered a bunch of UNICEF trick or treat boxes & wanted to challenge kids to at least triple the first donation given by any organization in history.

I was hoping by at least multiplying it by $1000, since that was in 1946 & was a grand total of $2.16. :biggrin_2559:Our school made it in the Smithsonian by making that first contribution.
(sigh) Our packet didn't come until today :biggrin_25513:so I think it's gonna be a big challenge to get everyone on board. We were able to give a heads up in the local paper about it though! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Now we've got someone with ideas of grander to add to the list...

I checked into this once, and I believe it will transfer. But that was about 12 years ago.

Hey Mr Dude, knew it was wise not to hold my breath!
You are right... Oil Sands is the word NOT Oilers it would seem!
How was the Frankenliner lineup today? Anything scary? Or did you scare them with your chain mail?:biggrin_25525:

haha. NEVER forget the oilers. Although with souray injured, it don't look good.

Oil Sands is the biggest transport op that I can see coming out of Northern Alberta, aside from the seasonal grains.

The Frankenliners were kept in the pen, but one of the International ProStars got out, had to reel it back in.

What kind of a Frankenliner are you guys talking about? Is this a new type of money-saver beyond that which is driven by a corpse? Let's check our definition of Frankenliner, as we may need some new terms here. Yeah, let's get these new models up and running, if only in our imagination.

A true Frankenliner is a trucking company's money-saving dream. Hook a corpse up to some servos, robotic limbs, and TV cameras, connect it to a live satellite feed, have an insider (maybe an illegal immigrant) control it all using a joystick (maybe from his home using his home PC), and woila. The ultimate in labor-saving devices. Maybe the company could outsource the joystick-holding job to somebody in Bangalore, India.

Having a corpse sit in the seat and imitate a real driver will fool most people and disguise the fact the rig is robotically controlled. This will keep the labor unions and/or voters at bay. Truck drivers won't notice either, as a lot of living drivers already look like they've been dead for a month. Company shops will only have to apply a generous amount of lime to each corpse to control the odor. This will help keep wild animals and such from high-tailing it after a Frankenliner as it's moving down the road. Wild pigs, dogs, bears, and vultures may want to feast on any tasty drivers who are no longer alive. No, we don't want any rolling Kal-Kan commericals on the highways.

What kind of truck are you guys talking about here? FrankenWorth? FrankenPete? FrankenCar? And how does it work?

Our Edmonton terminal receives twice as much freight as we ship out if that is any indication...:biggrin_2558:

Well, my tired mind found this, so I figured I'd post it before bed. TIP, since you started all this crazy talk of the Frankenliner, here is a belated halloween tidbit for you!

    And good night!

BTW, www.HPIracing.com, if you would like to see the R/C Monster Truck under that Caddy Hearse body.
