I filled out an online application and got a call the next morning. Got the physical long form in the mail a week later. I would have went to training on the 5th of Jan., but had to get my BP down a little. Give them a call.
Which number do I call? The recruiting number? Or just the toll free number on their Contact Us page?
not sure about other schools but the GA school is booked up till april from what I heard....... I will write up an update tomorrow gotta head up to a cousins...... stay tuned !
Week 2 update The entire week 2 has been extremely fast paced !! Heck week one was to. Monday went over straight backing half the day then driver side parallel and offset backing. Tuesday went over driver side parallel and offset backing for half a day and moved to blind side parallel and alley dock Wed.....spend half a day on alley dock and blind side parallel half the day and moved on full course where we had to do it all...... Thursday we drove around N. Georgia. The instructor split the class in 2 and half the class went in the morning and other half went in the evening. I drove fine I got to drive for 45 minutes thru country back roads to 4 lane bumper to bumper traffic to interstate. Everyone seems to drive fine no problems from what I have been told. A few folks have trouble shifting and down shifting. My shifting and down shifting is fine but I over rev the gears a little Friday we went over some tests we had to take sense it was 10 degrees outside. Around 10:00am we went outside and took our backing test. I done good didnt kill any cones or barrels. the 3rd week will be nothing but driving night and day. 3 students are going to Wisconsion to the WI terminal with a driver trainer for driving time and myself and 3 more will stay here in GA. Everyone is already assigned driver trainers and I have already met mine !!!
Jeepwj02, Thanks for the updates. Which hotel are you staying in? Was bored yesterday, so me and wife drove down to Cartersville and past the Millis Terminal, seen where the JB HUnt truck went off the road. Of course on the way back home, she had to stop in Calhoun at the outlet stores. Take care and stay safe....
We are staying in the Ramada Inn/Budget Host hotel. Just a basic hotel Yea them outlet malls are nice havent been in a while though
