waiting on word for a load. drop trailer for 3 hours. told them they could have it right now. i'll pick it up in the morning.

 

I enjoyed my vacation but..... am very glad to be back in my truck. It's so much quieter in here without a bunch of kids!!!! BTW- why don't kids come complete, with an on/off switch???

 

they do. you kick them in the rump. they'll shut up.

 

Enjoying the good weather today because I hear its going to get nasty very quickly, last couple of years have been mild winters this year I think is going to be yuck!

JJ pulled a set of doubles last night, He hasn't pulled doubles for about 12 or so years.

 

Well crap!!! Had my 3rd, not my fault, wreck today. A jeep that was passing me, started hydroplaning, and hit me. Didn't even know it at 1st. Felt a little bump, checked my mirrors, and saw the jeep heading for the center meridian. Didn't even see any damage ...... at first. When I did, all I noticed was a bent rim. Found out that he hit me hard enough to damage the under carriage of the trailer. Am stuck in KY until a shop opens tomorrow, when they'll try and straighten it out.

Shocker of this whole thing tho was, the guy admitted it was his fault.

 

Thank god for small mercies! As I said on FB they are looking to change that rule because its so unfair.
We have rain here right now no ice JJ might e doing a run to Chicago on Sunday, I hope not after looking at the weather map.

i just drove 900 miles in the crap. nice and sunny now but i get to go back in the crap. all the way through montana, and then over to seattle.

come january 1. i'm done. if it don't go east. don't call me.

the note is in the system. but i guess no one reads or just don't give a crap.

 

I get to go right up the middle of this storm. Oh joy, oh joy. Picking up a Miller (gag!!!!!!) beer load in Eden, NC, going to Milwaukie. Figure I'll start hitting it in Ohio. Yea.

 

JJ has a load going to Chicago on Sunday..Thats what I get for answering the phone half asleep lol
