    Headed back to Front Royal, VA. I will not run 90 across Illinois until they are done with that BS construction for 40 frickin' miles. Gonna run 39 to 88 and then across. 10 more miles, but a hell of a lot quicker than the insane 45 mph for 40+ miles. Have a good morning, Air Breeze welcome back to work.

    Great thread! Thanks to both Joe and Tow for the time today, I greatly appreciate it.

    Both places seem like good places to work for someone like me that doesn't want/need my hand held. I've been trucking since 92 and know how to get from point A to point B, last thing I need is a babysitter. Give me the load info, I got it from there.

    I was all set to go regional then came across this thread. Nice to know long haul is still an option for a solo driver. Now I've got to re-evaluate my options. It's been a long 8 years since I've been OTR, a lot has changed, but my love of running long is still the same. Decisions, decisions.

    If I go to either SEC or Lessors you guys will definitely get the credit, thanks!

    tow614 and joseph1135 Thank this.

    Growing slowly exasperated with wal-bloody-mart taking just as long as they freaking please. arrive 6.30 for 7.30 appointment....get to truck gate 6.45pm get to window (after checking that my door was currently occupied) at 7.00pm...finally get in door at around 8pm...still at door with green bleedin light at 9.43pm, still waiting for a red light, off loading no more than about 12 pallets which no doubt will take another 2 hours followed by an hour for some numpty to count the bloody stuff and probably head out of here close to midnight...or freaking bloody later. So far this poxy multi stopper has been a nightmare. 1130pm last night delivery (with something like a 2 hour unload), 10am this morning (3 hour) and now this piece of brown colored fecal matter place at 7.30pm (currently running at 3.5hrs) making for a grand total of 8.5 hrs OF DOING BLOODY NOTHING. When are trucking companies AND I MEAN PRETTY MUCH ALL OF THEM going to stop taking up the rear and stand up to these time wasting idiots. ABSOLUTELY NEVER, THAT'S WHEN. BECAUSE WHEN YOU HAVE THE SWIFTS, CR ENGLANDS AND VARIOUS OTHER BOTTOM FEEDERS OF THIS BUSINESS WILLING TO BEND OVER AND SEND IT TO THE DRIVER WITHOUT EVEN THE BENEFIT OF A REACH AROUND TO DO ESPECIALLY WALMARTS BIDDING IT AINT GONNA CHANGE. IS IT ANY WONDER WE END UP DRIVING TIRED AND FEELING TO #### PRESSURED:biggrin_25516::biggrin_25516::biggrin_25516::biggrin_25518::biggrin_2552:. OK, rant over....have a nice evening all!!!

    :Camels::smt120:dink::roll:

    OK...done!!

    Thanks for the welcome.

    Funny thing is Joe I pulled a refer the first 3 years of my career and swore never again. Me and grocery warehouses never got along, lol, kind of like Walmart! However after reading your threads both now and 2 years ago Ive got to consider Lessors.
